* 50 advertisers have dropped Limbaugh's show. The only two advertisers as of yesterday that were buying more Limbaugh ad time are Gingrich's SuperPac and the Ashley Madison cheaters website. That... seems about right, actually.
I'm not getting my hopes up that this will end his show. He's survived any number of these before, but just like Mel Gibson, I keep hoping people will decide to stop feeding the beast cash and attention. Hell, it eventually took with Glen Beck. Does it piss me off that these three got paid big bucks for all this time while spewing racist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic lies? Hell yes. Would I be happier if I lived in a country where these behaviors were fringe, not mainstream with Republicans? Hell to the yes. But I don'tt get to live in that sort of country just yet, so every time the country seems to be waking up to the ugly, I hope just a little that this will be the career ender.
