gwydion* In the last two days, the Syrian government murdered 135 people, including 18 children, and eight women. The footage of small children in body bags is heartbreaking. The opposition is starting to arm, as it looks like there is little chance of the Arab League intervening.

* Yes I've seen the clip/still of Jan "papers please" Brewer being unprecedentedly rude to the President. It looks pretty racist to me, as W., despite not being elected and being a terrible president, never was treated that way by a Democratic Governor.
* Mitt Romney gave more to the Morman Church last year than he paid in taxes. O.o
* The polls are showing that even Rick "frothy residue" Santorum has a better chance against Obama than Gingrich.
* Did I mention Newt Gingrich wants the death penalty for two ounces of pot? WTF?!? Y'all know I'm allergic so have no dog in the race, yet I still don't see why pot should be illegal when alcohol, a much more dangerous drug is legal. It's simply more humane and realistic to legalize and tax pot.
* There was an errand I ought to have done today, but I woke up exhausted and with a bad case of the shakes, so decided to take the day off.
* The configuration in the apartment is fairly stable now, and I've been having fun watching the cats audition spots and work out who can mest where and when. Feline politics: subtle, complex, territory based.
* These cupcakes are so addictive. I'm thinking I need to tweak the balance a little for my taste, but I am so doing this again. I used the whipped white icing and nonpariel and red sugar toppers.
