I've waiting until Monday as we missed the vet window, and it's more than double at the pet ER, way more than I have saved for the phone bill or in pocket. I've got her set up with food and water she can get lying down. Whatever is wrong seems to be with the bottom joint on a fore paw or with the paw itself. The hind leg arthritis makes it worse, as she can't really hop properly. I am doing what I can to comfort her. She's eating, drinking, and purring when pet, still.

I am so tired of being poor. I don't want to lose her.

Can you Google pet charities in your area, or low-cost vets?

Also, are you sure the Vet is open on monday, as it's a federal holiday. (They may be, you just might want to double check.)
