Feb. 21st, 2012 09:55 pm* I keep thinking about this santorum thing. How can you have a reasonable debate with someone who believes that wanting to avoid move oil spills and reduce carbon emissions is bad "theology?" This is my problem with the Republican party lately in a nutshell really.
* Santorum's spokeswoman clarified his remarks by explaining that the "theology" that he was referring to was the president's "radical Islamic policies." What radical policies? What Islamic policies? Meanwhile, Billy Graham's son is out claiming that as the President's grandfather conversted to islam, the President was "born Muslim" and he can't tell if he's really christian. He does believe santoruum is christian even though he's Catholic. I'm too tired to explain all the things that are fucked up right here. Sigh.
* There is reason to think from the polling, that Gingrich staying in the race is helping Romney, as most of the folks backing him would prefer santorum to romney.
* Today I spent the last of the money from the retirement advance on things like cat litter and toilet paper. The extra thousand for the car means I am not ahead on my debt as I hoped I would be. Sigh.
* A huge amount of BPAL arrived today between the wonderful tibicina and swaps. I expect it to take some time to catalog and test. You know how I've been caught up on lj for a few days? Wave good bye to that.
* The tansy came today, and there was rather more of it than I expected. I'll see how it works out in sachets in a few days. The new table is definitely a big help in the bedroom. how silly the solution was only $4.00? I keep thinking that when there is money, i should buy paint and turn the car into an art car. I find the navy blue hulk disconcerting in it's current form. I still need to hook up the new used DvD player, and have been too tired to go back to unpacking with everything else that's going on. The cats and I had seriously disrupted sleep between phone, door, and the plumber fixing the sink, so I passed out goosh and ate an emergency dinner. They are all sleeping it off, thank Poseidon. The sink now has a sleek, modern aerator. It's the first time in more than a decade, i've had a kitchen faucet that doesn't leak. Yay!
* How cool is it that they explicitly use a condom in Deadline? It's so rare to safe sex in books, especially zombie genre ones. I wish they'd hurry up and release Blackout.
