Jun. 18th, 2011 11:57 pm* It occurs to me I haven't seen upstairs birmin or any of the ferals in months. I am now wondering if they are as dead as that raccoon I saw likely is by now. How long has there been rabies in the neighborhood? It is hard to notice an absence. I am now wondering how many infected animals are lurking in the brush, the gully, the bit of woods between here and the stadium.
* I've been watching the second season of White Collar. The desensitization project is going well. I'm still mostly in it for Mozzie.
* B5 season one thought: they had the actor who played Scorpio and the actor who played Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica play villains back to back. I'll take guys I thought were sexy circa 1982 for a hundred, Alex.
* I finished Naming of the Beasts, which did a lovely job of tying up many of the long dangling loose ends while leaving enough to move forward. I've started Game of Thrones, but expect it will need to go back before I finish. Me: Wait, there are how many dire wolves? Things are certainly clearer than the shows. I do not know yet which is more artistic.
* Re the YA kerfluffle: None of the things that harmed me growing up came out of the pages of a book.
