* The Angel 4's came in and I finally got to see "Spin the Bottle" all the way through, and two others I didn't recognize. I think I've seen them all now.

* The new BPALs are cataloged, I've tested the Blue Willow tea, which is pretty tasty

* RM found, As predicted when the government in Tunisia fell, things are happening in Egypt as well: http://motherjones.com/mojo/2011/01/whats-happening-egypt-explained.

* Apropos of nothing in particular, I love the phrase, "Bisexual as a dolphin."

* More proof of Michael Steele's courage compared to the average Republican politician, he's not only been going on Maddow for real debate, but he's back on Bill Maher's Show. Catch Palin or Bachman going somewhere they ask tough questions. Not likely.

* I need 20 hours of sleep. O.o I think I may be sick. The way I'm slurping down medicinal tea and it barely touching symptoms might be another clue.

* No, Republicans, Obama failing to refer to the "five pillars" during his speech doesn't prove he's a secret Muslim.

* I have nothing to say about the 25th anniversary of the shuttle disaster that hasn't already been said.

I was born in the year they landed on the moon and grew up in a house full of science fiction with the same space dreams as most kids had, I think. I figured out I'd never go the year Sally Ryde came to talk to my school. It was meant to inspire us, but I realized I was already out of the pool. That didn't stop me wanting us to go to Mars or cheering for NASA. It was a beautiful dream, really.

Although I have issues with some of the acting in Angel S4, I personally think it's my favourite season of Angel, and possibly my favourite season of any of Joss' shows. The way each episode dovetails into the next, the twisty plot and the character's feelings of helplessness coupled with the final episode twist...ahhh!

But then my sensibilities are far more Angel-verse rather than Buffy-verse. I do think tho it's a very good example of a show where it went in directions the creator didn't intend (as Joss was busy with Buffy and Firefly) and in some ways, was better after he took a step back and let other writers play with it. But then I hated Angel S5, so.

I can't stand Connor, which poisons what would otherwise be a prime season for me.

I'm fine with season 5. I also love 2 and 3. I'm also more Angel than Buffy, it turns out.
