gwydion* Fox news keeps claiming that Jared Loughner was a communist because he read Mein Kampf. I am confused as to how having read Mein Kampf is proof of Jared Loughner's communism. 1. Hitler was right wing not left. 2. I've read Bernardo De Gui's treatise on how to find Heretics, yet I'm neither catholic nor pro inquisition.
* There is so much snow, there's been sledding in the street outside my house. I'm worried about how mail is going to get in. I'm lucky doctor was yesterday when I could still get out. My next obligation requiring leaving the house is Saturday, and I can actually postpone it if things look bad Friday.
* The cold generally makes Hector anxious out of proportion. He keeps needing me to come with him to check the food canister. I think he still associates a sharp drop in temperature with starvation even after all these years, poor thing.
* They are using "High Voltage" on the White Collar commercials. I only just got that out of my head.
* I keep dreaming about my Brother in Law clearing out my Mother's house. I know this is me trying to get my head around it being out of the family's hands after more than a hundred years. This is the house my grandfather and the Aunts grew up with. My Mother said the Aunts would be spinning in their graves if they hadn't been cremated. I keep imagining the swirl of ashes in the urns.
