gwydionI am worried about Mache. She could barely walk today also with her arthritis. She will leave the bed to eat and for litter, but the pain is clearly terrible. Even if there were money for the vet, I couldn't carry her there, as the distances carrying a carrier on foot are impossible.
Hector is guarding her sleep, and I put the goosh on the bed for her, despite my usual no food on the bed policy. Once all the goosh was eaten, I set up the kibble so she could eat it lying down. Watching her hobble is freaking me out. The litter's already as close as I can move it without blocking passage.
Further update: we can't decide if she somehow injured herself while I was out, or if it's arthritis. She finally came out because she wanted to be in the center of things and the pain had her squeaking up a storm, I made her a mest on the floor by my chair and moved food and a box over. I'm really freaked out, and I think I may be spending the phone bill money on emergency vet if she's not any better tomorrow.
