Oct. 24th, 2011 05:21 am* Apparently, I missed the republicans fillabustering a jobs Bill fragment designed to prevent the firing of teachers, policemen, and firefighters, for the price of a half percent tax increase of half a percent on incomes over a million dollars, because the savings accounts of the ultra rich are way more important than jobs of ordinary people or the health of the economy to Senate Republicans.

* All this Shakespeare not having written his plays thing always smacks of classism to me. People don't want to believe that the son of a glover could write poetry and plays that have stood the test of centuries. Instead, they want to make the "real" author a nobleman. it's creeps me out, it does.
* Walking dead Thought: every episode, i get angrier and angrier that they seem to have taken book Andrea's awesome and given it all to Meryl. I say this as someone who loves many things about the show, including the little backstory bits the comic books lack.
