* 200 million is the amount of money we are wasting every week by the republican furloughing of the FAA employees. Because they refuse to reauthorize them unless all Unions are dissolved, the FAA has been shut down for four days. This mean they can't collect taxes. Rather than pass the tax savings on to the consumers, the airlines have decided to profit by jacking up the rates. Charming. What have the "greedy" FAA Unions been fighting for lately? Adequate sleep time between shifts so air traffic controllers won't fall asleep on the job. The Republicans want to assure you that this waste of 200 million dollars a week is a crucial cost saving measure.

* So in Wisconsin, they are requiring everyone to have a driver's license as part of their massive voter suppression effort against the poor. They are now planning to close DMVs in Democratic districts while expanding hours in Republican districts in the hopes that forcing the poor to take off extra time and travel long distances to get new Id will make it impossible for the poor, elderly, and students in democratic districts to vote ever again. They are also doing a surprise redistricting in the hopes of preventing people finding their polling place. Why do Republicans hate our freedoms so much? If their arguments are so compelling and popular, why do they fear putting them up to a vote so much?
