gwydion* Tibicina and Blackdjinn camwe with BPAL and tea. They were also kind enough to take me out to the tea house. Omnomnom! I floated my idea for a Law and Order franchise dealing with Rico investigations, as it's hard to prosecute those cases in part due to the general public not understanding how the law works. Blackdjinn suggested it be called "Law and Order: Criminal Enterprise Unit. I think it'd work. People love things on organized crime, and they love police procedurals. Think of all the fun the writers could have with Dark Blue style undercover work. I think it'd be a good fit for the law and order style. Sigh. I am over caffeinated and sleep deprived, but I have toys to play with and the conversation was good. I miss having friends close by.
* Whatever else one might say about Micheal Steele, the man is one of the rare Republican leaders willing to go on news shows on networks other than Fox and actually try to debate stuff. Tonight was his second time on the Maddow Show since he stopped being RNC chair.
* Yes, I saw Palin's complete failure to understand what "Sputnik moment" meant. I think y'all know what I'd say, so fill in your own punchlines.
* An Asian American California State Senator called on Rush Limbaugh to apologize for his extremely racist remarks. not surprisingly Rush mocked him, and his listeners have been sending in racial slurs and death threats to Mr. Ye. Charming.
