gwydion* Protesters were putting up barricades in Caracas. Venezuelans are starting to take sides generally, with the rural areas siding with the president.
* I see Republicans are claiming that Republicans forcing the sequester because they like to pretend the imaginary debt crisis is real is somehow the President's fault. They are also claiming that cutting back military spending even a little is unprecedented even though we always have dramatically cut back military spending after every single previous war except Iraq II. Why let reality get in the way of rhetoric, after all? I see they are demanding we starve military families by taking away their EBT/SNAP food stamps so as to use that money to keep us on a War footing so they can randomly invade more countries as they've been demanding for well over a decade. They insist that starving the children of active duty soldiers is "supporting the troops" while feeding their children is bad for America. Riiiiight.
