Remember to vote in all the races, not just the top of the ticket even if it's in a separate primary (as it is in my state). Who runs congress, your state, and your local government really matters. In some states this is a separate primary. Check the rules for your state.
Never, ever sleep on a chance to vote.
It is always better to vote for someone who will listen to us than to let someone who is actively trying to kill us.

* 4/12/24: Today they sent a hard working my ageish Quebequois gentleman who was willing to mop and everything. I was his first gig on the app. He was charming to chat to, has children and a cat at home, was worried about my safety on the wet floors.
He flashed me the sweetest little smile when I asked if he was Quebequois, pronouncing it right, which he remarked on. Most Americans don't. We talked about his home city, which I'd visited and the beautiful diversity of French regional accents as well as educational reform and the feeding of cats.
I suspect his wife is a lucky woman.
Today also the swelling had gone down enough to wear the beautiful octopus shirt. This brings me up to three wearable shirts. I found another looking for something in my drawers for a housewarming gift for a Millennial Wednesday. This means i have three other shorts to try out to see if my arm fits okay in them instead of two.
I have clean sheets. Both tent shirts are in the wash as I type this, which is good as I got soup on one and had to fish the dirty one out to wear last night. the cats are having a nice afternoon watching birds and puttering about.
I got six hours of sleep most nights this week and eight on Thursday. I hadn't had eight hours since before the operation.
* 4/26: I expect to be about 50ish short on the up coming car repair and about 150 short for bills.

* 4/12/24: Today they sent a hard working my ageish Quebequois gentleman who was willing to mop and everything. I was his first gig on the app. He was charming to chat to, has children and a cat at home, was worried about my safety on the wet floors.
He flashed me the sweetest little smile when I asked if he was Quebequois, pronouncing it right, which he remarked on. Most Americans don't. We talked about his home city, which I'd visited and the beautiful diversity of French regional accents as well as educational reform and the feeding of cats.
I suspect his wife is a lucky woman.
Today also the swelling had gone down enough to wear the beautiful octopus shirt. This brings me up to three wearable shirts. I found another looking for something in my drawers for a housewarming gift for a Millennial Wednesday. This means i have three other shorts to try out to see if my arm fits okay in them instead of two.
I have clean sheets. Both tent shirts are in the wash as I type this, which is good as I got soup on one and had to fish the dirty one out to wear last night. the cats are having a nice afternoon watching birds and puttering about.
I got six hours of sleep most nights this week and eight on Thursday. I hadn't had eight hours since before the operation.
