* Friday is forage boxes day and I had a Thing in the afternoon scheduled, but it fell through, but I set the alarm because I didn't know at the time nothing was going to happen. Plus a long surprise phone call about getting services we need, plus scammer autodialers... I was going to be short sleeped anyway, but none of the sleep chunks I got were longer than an hour and a half and I take ages to fall back asleep under these circumstances so, basically hardly any spoons and nowhere near enough concentration it was past three AM before my head was together enough to do real work instead of just prepping and faffing about, by which point Rupert Laptop was balky. Mostly from there on I read stuff and fed things into the dramwidth scaffold, but really, mostly faffing about. Sorry.
Saturday: I meant to get up early today but that was before a scammer called me 20 times during my sleep cycle from different autodialers carefully timed so I'd have just enough time to drift back to sleep between and then I had to spend 45 minutes trying to talk someone into considering doing something about it. I am not sanguine anything will happen and I only get 25 blocked numbers, so....
Anyway, that ate three hours of sleep time and then I read Murderbot for a while, but the nap that followed was low quality. I managed to get as far as medicated and dressed before getting sucked down into slightly less crappy sleep, but still low quality.

* Friday is forage boxes day and I had a Thing in the afternoon scheduled, but it fell through, but I set the alarm because I didn't know at the time nothing was going to happen. Plus a long surprise phone call about getting services we need, plus scammer autodialers... I was going to be short sleeped anyway, but none of the sleep chunks I got were longer than an hour and a half and I take ages to fall back asleep under these circumstances so, basically hardly any spoons and nowhere near enough concentration it was past three AM before my head was together enough to do real work instead of just prepping and faffing about, by which point Rupert Laptop was balky. Mostly from there on I read stuff and fed things into the dramwidth scaffold, but really, mostly faffing about. Sorry.
Saturday: I meant to get up early today but that was before a scammer called me 20 times during my sleep cycle from different autodialers carefully timed so I'd have just enough time to drift back to sleep between and then I had to spend 45 minutes trying to talk someone into considering doing something about it. I am not sanguine anything will happen and I only get 25 blocked numbers, so....
Anyway, that ate three hours of sleep time and then I read Murderbot for a while, but the nap that followed was low quality. I managed to get as far as medicated and dressed before getting sucked down into slightly less crappy sleep, but still low quality.
