* Saturday I served tea and cookies and we took down Gothmas. And all the mantle lighting. :( It all looks so naked and start without the decorations. We were too tired to take apart and pack the altar proper or mess with tanks. As it was I needed twelve hours sleep, hence my silence al of Saturday. Basically i ate and lunged and went straight to bed.
Since I had outside help with the Gothmas break down, Livia spent the duration in her Hide and Tavy stayed on his bed. He let the guest pet him and he was very interested in the boxes being moved out of the closet, then later back in, but he never left his room.
When the Imperial couple emerged for feeding they discovered all the trees and Goth tchotchkes had been mysteriously vanished from the bird watching window and environs. So much excite! A cat would gallop up, lea dramatically onto the bench, peer out the window, then dart off again for a run round the common areas. Meanwhile another cat would do the same. Back and forth over and over, while Elder Kitty watched them like they had lost their minds. She had watched most of the break down in real time herself. She doesn't like visitors touching her, but she does like to hang out and be low key social when we have them so there was no mystery in the cleared space for her.
