If you live in an open primary state consider voting strategically. Otherwise, vote your heart in the primary. Remember how all those votes for Sanders and Warren pushed Biden and the party platform further left?

Remember to vote in all the races, not just the top of the ticket even if it's in a separate primary (as it is in my state). Who runs congress, your state, and your local government really matters. In some states this is a separate primary. Check the rules for your state.

Never, ever sleep on a chance to vote.

It is always better to vote for someone who will listen to us than to let someone who is actively trying to kill us.

I got the Pride stuff up. I am doing the flags on the inside of the curtains so i am not technically hanging them "outside." I can loop the curtains up by day. they are super visible at night when the interior light shines through. if they come for me and threaten me, I shall report every American flag in the complex including the ones in my stack on one of the upper floors.

For those not following the saga i am several years in on a battle with management over my Pride display. They ended up passing a total exterior flag ban for the complex so it wouldn't look like singling me out about eighteen months ago. Last year we got away with my flags inside the curtain thing. We'll see how it goes.

Last July I bought four large rainbow pinwheels to squirrel away for this year. The one newest millennial handpainted last year broke in the Autumn, though I leave it out still in their honor. Now it has four translucent friends stuck in the contain garden.

* 6/7/2024 Physio really ramped up on me. Nightly exercises took me an hour and a half to fail to complete. I expect to to take at least two later in the week.

I stayed up… I think twenty hours to help a Millennial fight through yet more bureaucracy. This is the third week in a row. apparently some agency didn't send paperwork where it was supposed to go at another agency. We were exhausted and will try again Monday. Fuck! I get to lose all my real rest days and my aid because somebody didn't forward email or log things properly on the web or whatever, idk. So I guess Monday we have to talk an agency into telling us where on the internet the paperwork is stored so we can get it to email it to the agencies that need it, Squirrel says this is not how any of this works and the agencies should already have access to it, hence my suspicion that someone didn't upload it or something like a year ago.

Bonus? When I got up I discovered the fridge is broken again. The fan likely. It is nearly always the fan.

The cheaper repair people did the ethical thing and said they didn't have the expertise for this model and sent me to unaffiliated more expensive experts. Neither company could have seen me before monday, but at least I got a two hour window Monday morning.

I have invested in dry ice this time, which was pricey. I have no idea where the middle size cooler is. Likely in the closet I can't take apart myself. I did manage to drag the Gargantua out of storage. About a third of the small chest freezer that houses squirrel's meat was uncharacteristically empty, so the ice cream and my most expensive things went in there, which is a HUGE help, the refrigerator having declined dramatically between 8 an noon from still coolish despite the fan having died to no longer a fridge. I suspect I shall lose a bunch of cheese, because tiny cooler has only a smallish amount of ordinary ice.

Newest Millennial came to the rescue so instead of me with one completely fucked up non-weight bearing arm (I felt okay during physio, but by morning I was not.) taking all afternoon, the two of us got it managed in about an hour. I sent them home with a big box of frozen things and refrigerator perishables. we had a nice visit, as we'd only talked outside briefly with masks the night they dropped off soup and a sandwich while I was quarantined.

I had about an hour nap this morning. I'm trying to stay up until squirrel gets home. I should probably see if I can squeeze more cheese into the gargantua too. Sigh.
