* Tuesday was a lot of adulting/phone bureaucracy. Wednesday Head Millennial and I were giving Nearby Millennial a bunch of extra training in advance of a trip head Millennial is making so Nearby Millennial can do some of the more complicated things. (I don't believe in overwhelming thi8ngs with a ton of new complex tasks. I believe in building slowly). Tavy's peed on the sofa twice in the last week so I have had so much laundry to do. Livia kept down her hairball meds, so she is doing much better.

* Thursday Klaus Laptop's mouse died. I don't function well without a mouse. Squirrel is lending me his when he's at work until I can secure a new one. This limits work time, and i am using that time for much needed rest, mostly.

In other news, Squirrel started his new job this week and it's going swimmingly. The old job was way to physically demanding and his health has been deteriorating the last decade or so. It got dramatically worse when the anti-vaxxer resignations reduced them to skeleton crew. The same wave of resignations meant he could get a way less physically demanding job in his field with the same hours and samish pay. He no longer looks like death warmed over when he gets home from work so it's huge for him. Seriously that old job was killing him in the literal sense. I'm sure it was putting him in danger of a heart attack. (He's still trying to get old job to pay him what they owed him, but he has hopes of getting the rest of the compensation by month's end.
