* Monday night: I did get my second shot. I had a couple tough hours with the cough this afternoon, but my meds cleared things up enough to get more rest. I have a brutal headache and moving around feels like lifting weights, but honestly this is not as bad as last Saturday. Squirrel says he took longer than this to get really ill from second shot, so we'll see how tomorrow goes, but so far, unpleasant but manageable.

* Tuesday Night: It was a lot better, the fever was gone and the headache. Mostly I was tired and dizzy. Seriously, this wasn't that bad. My decision to order enough food that I could just microwave leftovers was a good one though. After midnight, it got a lot easier to ready and I was almost fine. The shots were so worth it. Anecdotally, my Pfiser first shot was a little bit rougher than Squirrel's Moderna first shot, but my second shot wasn't as bad as his second.

* My attempt at telemedicine failed because apparently my laptop doesn't have a strong enough signal. I've no idea how to fix that. I didn't know laptops had signals. It’s literally right next to the router, so I’m not sure how moving it further away would help. So we won't know how badly my body is failing until likely next month, assuming my laptop has a stronger signal on the 22nd. I am not sanguine. The Doctor's office had no suggestion as to how to fix it. I do know this laptop handles zoom fine.

* Late Thursday the caregiver stuff finally made it through a 5ish month bureaucratic tangle. Saturday the youngest Millennial came and did his first shift of work! Yay! Given the level of arm deterioration, things have gotten out of control in the last year and a lot of cleaning things can fuck me up for weeks. It's just a massive help. We still need more information about hours and time sheets from the state, but work's official start was Friday, so we are just documenting at this point, but it's kosher.

* The library got the Great, which is about as ahistorical as Black Adder's second series, but it is beautiful and darkly funny yet moving in a way I appreciate. (Yes the costumes don't make sense and the personalities are way, way off, but they literally put a disclaimer in the title card about being only occasionally accurate. Also, props on one of the few accurate things being that the horse sex thing was a lie.)

* If you had told me twenty years ago that the Zach Snyder version of Justice League would be dramatically less misogynist than the Joss Whedon version, I wouldn't have believed you.
