* After the jump, I took the car out for another long drive, this time to the south. The mist was all whips on the tree covered slopes of the nearest mountain and it was absolutely stunning. I am still ridiculously in love with the landscape here after more than two decades in residence. After a brief trip on the highway for protection against stop sign stalling, I took the back way to the Lake where Skye and I used to go and where I usually take the millennials in summer. I wasn't sure it would be open. As it turned out, you could drive through there and they'd left a small amount of parking for socially distant fishing, waling, and jogging. I didn't get out, but that lake was beautiful in the light rain. In the fishing area, there were a handful of people there with polls, all masked and gloved.

It started again in the evening, so i took a short drive. I skipped Tuesday, but plan to test Wednesday. My plan is to keep expanding by a day until I know how long it takes the battery to drain.
