Could happen, could happen." O.o I must ask how? There are only 9 slots, and I don't see how there could possibly be that many vacancies absent a major disaster or plague. Is he planning on killing them himself perhaps? I honestly don't see how it "could happen" without him making it happen. This is assuming he meant U S history, rather than world history, as there are plenty of countries with far larger Supreme Courts, Poland, for example where there is currently a crisis going on because Far Right Extremists took over their government and are trying to remove Supreme Court justices despite their terms not being up while adding a massive number of new slots so as to pack the court.

* My car died. Luckily at Forage, so I just gimped around the corner and the nice man came and got it going gain. Looks like it needs a new grounding wire though. I really need to do auctions. I know I need to do auctions. I'm going to need tax money anyway at end of Summer. I'm just so damned tired and it's too damned hot.

Errands were one thing after another. First the light on a busy intersection near here was dead and people were not taking proper turns, then the car dying, then I got trapped behind the wheelchair transport just aas it was pulling in. Then I got parked in and am bruised all over squeezing back into my car at the pharmacy, which also bled more money I can't afford. After library I went to pick up my food from the coOp, but they'd forgotten to order it. Also it's hot and sticky and I can't get the compartment in the back of my car open to change the cardboard and I wore myself out trying.
