* The Republicans have until the end of the month to steal your health care and there is a good chance of them succeeding, as the current bill robs blue states that took Medicare expansion to give block grant bribes to red states like alaska in hopes of flipping the votes of wobbly Republicans. It also robs 30 million people of their health care, dramatically cuts Medicaid generally, and is designed to dramatically jack up prices for pre existing conditions and copays just generally.

Look, I know we are all tired, but we need to come out and fight one last time. We need the in person protests at town halls and district offices as well as in Washington. We need faxes and phone calls. We need to hold them off just a few weeks longer. Bombard your Republican Congress Critters wit personal stories. Make them listen to the people they are planning to kill. This is geometrically more important if you have Senators like Collins, Murkowski, McCain, etc., who were against or soft on previous rounds.

* I got proper sleep today and I made a huge dent in the Autumn cleaning/organizing needed in advance of putting up the Gothmas stuff, including a massive library shift in the livingroom. Which likely means there is room to collect the stacks of history books sitting in my bedroom to put away properly.

I've had the microwave fan running for about half an hour as I wrote this.
My plan is to leave the fan on all evening just in case.

Addendum: It can run about an hour without screaming. Sigh.
