Sep. 29th, 2015 06:40 am* 130 are dead in an attack on a Wedding Party in Yemen. The Yemenis say they were attacked by Saudi warplanes. Saudis insist that it was rebels.
* So Trump's tax plan that supposedly was going to tax the rich? It's all about a massive tax cut on capital gains, which are already taxed much lower than actual work, which is part of the Republican upward redistribution of wealth. So a tax cut for the wealthy is somehow meant to count as a tax increase for the wealthy? Riiiiight! He is also c alling for abolishing what is left of the estate tax, as that would prevent previously untaxed wealth from ever being taxed for the 1%, as clearly, the wealthy, having scooped up all the economic gains in our economy since I've been an adult need an even larger scare at the expense of the middle class.

I just watched a Republican on TV insist that Policemen should not be expected to be less arbitrarily violent and murderous than criminals when they are acting as agents of the state and that therefore it's illegitimate to protest police murders of unarmed children. He says it's unreasonable to hold police to a higher standard when it comes to shooting innocent black people. O.o
