* Three are dead, including the shooter, and nine injured in a theater shooting in Louisiana. Five are still in the hospital, one critical. The shooter was a white supremacist who particularly hated jews and gay people.

* Wait a Minute.... When the officer decided to put Sandra Bland under arrest for assaulting a police officer, she was still in the car. Her refusal to put out her cigarette was the reason he decided to arrest her for assaulting a police officer. I am no fan of second hand smoke, being a lung patient, but it sure didn't look like assault to me. I also still think it is wildly unfair that you can be charged for resisting arrest because the officer did not tell you you are under arrest. Was she supposed to read his mind? He had told her specifically that he was citing, not arresting her, yet he starts screaming at her about not getting out before he tells her he's arresting her and he refuses to tell her that he is arresting her for assaulting an officer for smoking in her car. I still think they should be legally required to tell you they are arresting you and why.

The TV was glitched so I just gave up and went to bed. i am still recovering from the mowing, but more sleep in my filtered room is helping. I did some bureaucracy and the dishes today, but little else. *facepalm*
