Dec. 30th, 2014 05:01 pm* Last night, they started pulling bodies and debris out of the Java Sea.
* There may have been a coup attempt in Gambia last night.
* I'm aware of the Greek Ferry disaster. Honestly, I think something seriously fishy is going on there, so I'm not commenting until things are cleared up.
* A nurse from Scotland who was volunteering in Sierra Leone fell ill in Glasgow with ebola and has been taken in an isolation tent to London. The NHS appears to be reacting rationally and the nurse is being treated properly instead of demonized. They are checking a second worker in Glasgow just in case.
* Today was very Rosana Rosana Dana. It was meant to be Bureaucracy Day. I failed dramatically. See, I was supposed to finish a DvD to take back to the Haagen Drop, do dishes and start food, then plow into the bureaucracy pile while it cooked. Only I took so lang to get my shit together I was starting past noon. It turned out too dark in the kitchen which ment the extremely dangerous me standing on a ladder process, which turned out to require a tool and a piece of nipple fell on me and rolled away and the dishes and cooking took forever and it turned out the directions assumed I had lots of prepackaged things, so I had to guess what might be in the packets i didn't have and fake the rest and and and.... You see how it goes. Some of the bureaucracy must be done by tomorrow, the rest by early next week. I am already to tired to deal with complicated bureaucracy directions and math. Sigh.
The best part is that by the time the food was cooked, I was too queasy to eat it.
