* Governor LaPaige is so ignorantly hysterical, that he is lying about a medical worker to keep her prisoner even though Gov. LaPaige seems to be a worse public health risk than the nurse, he continues to lie that she needs to be confined at gunpoint because even though she is following CDC quarantine guidelines, she somehow isn't in the hopes of stirring up more panic. If he is this craven and he is incapable of reading or understanding the guidelines when they are explained slowly and carefully in very small words, how is he qualified to run a state? Should a man like this really be allowed to power to summarily suspend the rights of citizens who have committed no crime and pose no disease risk to humans?

* Meanwhile, the Governor of Connecticut, in a prolonged bout of muppet armed panic is still holding 8 citizens hiostage for no good reason, one of them basically an IT guy, who literally had no contact with ebola patients and repeatedly tests negative for a disease he couldn't have, not having been exposed at all.

* Look, I support quarantine for people who have infectious diseases. If this was small pox, I'd be all for locking folks up, given you can pass small pox on for a long time before the person knows they are sick, and we haven't nearly the vaccine deeded for a serious outbreak. The problem is that these folks have pose no risk to people currently.

We shouldn't be imprisoning people without any cause.

* Africa is really, really big. Much bigger than the US. Zambia, Rwanda, and Tanzania are far from the countries that have ebola. Nigeria handled their business and is ebola free, which we aren't. Barring people with no exposure from school because you are too lazy to look at a map is not okay.
