Oct. 9th, 2014 06:08 am* The gentleman in Dallas died of ebola yesterday morning. Damn. There are a lot of questions about whether the hospital in Dallas delayed his treatment and the way made no attempt to get him blood of a survivor. So, incompetent or racist?
* It's looking like a member of the Dallas Sheriff's department who was in the apartment they didn't bother to properly clean for a week may be infected. The hospital has learned from the previous instance and are taking it seriously as they possibly can. At dinner time yesterday, they had not confirmed if he had it or not.
* Speaking of incompetence, it turns out the Spanish nurse tried to turn herself in for treatment when she first got sick, what with her having been involved in treating an ebola patient and the hospital repeatedly ignored her concerns and refused to admit her. Finally she became deathly ill and went to the hospital where they repeatedly ignored her saying she thought she had ebola and made her sit in the waiting room for hours with no protective gear. Given she was infected in the same hospital.... I have so many questions about how badly they are handling the situation. Djinni do not read: ( TW: )
