* A disgruntled fired ex-employee rampaged through his former workplace, beheading an elderly woman and stabbing a second before being shot by a company executive. People are running way ahead of facts on motives. I'm not going to do that, and as is my custom, I don't name perpetrators of attacks like these. The attacker is expected to live, but was sedated as of this writing.

* Republican Congressman Lamborn reassured donors on Tuesday that he is undermining military readiness and is trying to incite mutiny in the U S Military for partisan gain. He's on the house Arms Services Committee and claimed he was part of a large conspiracy. When asked about his treason, which was caught on tape, his spokes people lied repeatedly and blatantly in the hopes that people will ignore the evidence and believe the lies.
