* Vikings: Perhaps Floki is Ragnar's Shadow, the dark to his light. They don't move the same, but there is something sinuous about both of them, that makes them look like echoes. I think of photo negatives, the same thing with the colours reversed.
Ragnar and Athelstan have chemistry. There is something beautifully intimate about Ragnar replacing the bracelet on Athelstan's wrist, and the way Ragnar asks him to come back.
* I hate the commercials where a man says wires are ugly where his marionette wife and child can hear and feel bad about themselves. He always claims that he doesn't mean their wires, but knowing it hurts them he keeps doing it and encouraging his friends to do it. It's set up as if this emotional abuse is meant to be funny. Yuck.
