* It's looking like the French military intervention in Mali seems to have halted the rebel advance in Mali. You'll remember that the secular separatist revolution got hijacked by Saudi backed Religious Extremists who immediately started dismantling cultural treasurers over the objections of the populace. Apparently the locals are pleased by the united French/British/US intervention. There is talk of a Pan-African force moving in soon. *fingers crossed for this turning out well*
