Sep. 10th, 2012 12:07 am* I think there is something fundamentally unpatriotic about the republican effort to deny veterans and active duty soldiers serving overseas the right to vote. These folks have volunteered to risk life and limb for this country and now Republicans are saying that as letting them vote is bad for Republican interests they should lose this most fundamental right of citizenship.

* Hector's three days of inconsolable howling was not a good mix with my crippling headache. just saying. My lungs are a lot clearer today, though I'm still icky. Finger crossed for me being well enough to take flu vaccine next week.
* I woke up barely able to move. This sort of extreme pain is a normal thing this time of year. The real problem was I couldn't pop a muscle relaxant and a Vicodin and wait it out as I needed to take back library books, before breaking out the big guns. Narcotics and driving do not mix. Sigh. It's been a really ugly day, with even small stupid things turning into herculean tasks. On the upside, I'm mostly over the inoculations, thus ready for the next round.
* Remember how back during the Olympics I was talking about how much I loved all the different body shapes and the different standards of beauty there as opposed to the ret of the stuff on TV?
