* I was actually shockingly mobile today. Apparently, a decadent amount of sleep plus a couple of hours to warm up my limbs makes a huge difference. I have food, detergent, toilet paper, etc.. Whoo hoo! It would have been a perfect day for walking cats, but really, there wasn't time when I got back. They are all still in extreme cling mode and I've given Hector his anxiety meds as he's been escalating.

* I've been reading Huff's Enchantment Emporium. So far, it's readable, but not really up my alley like her Smoke series was. However, it's really nice to have a bisexual lead and a matter of fact handling of sexuality and orientation in a book like this. So many of her peers in genre write only straight leads. She's always been very good LGB inclusion, and it's lovely to she's continuing that, despite the way the TV rights for her series have been handled.

* I see folks from the Bush administration and the Republicans generally are claiming Osama bin Laden's death for Bush. They do have a point. After all, if Bush hadn't ordered them to stop looking in 2005, Obama likely wouldn't have been able to order them to find him now.

* Is it just me, or is Kristen Stewart starting to look like a young Sigourney Weaver? http://cdn02.cdn.gofugyourself.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/113517378-Kristen-Stewart-Met-Gala-2011-419x616.jpg

* Moment of zen. As a kid, I loved slow lorises. They are painfully cute and have a toxic bite. what's not to love, really. Today seems a good day to watch one getting tickled:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLdQ3UhLoD4
