* I saw ( Machete (not much in the way of spoilers if you've seen the trailers): )

* There's a set of pro-energy industry commercials running here right now that make me queasy. Why do we need regulation? *points to the Gulf coast* don't all the jobs lost to oil spills count? Given the huge profits the Oil companies made last year, I have have trouble believing they are genuinely hurting financially and the huge environmental and economic devastation caused by not regulating is so much bigger damage wise than the inconvenience to the oil companies caused by requiring them to stop negligently killing their employees and putting in proper safety gear. I'm scared people will fall for it. Argh!

* Watching the SVU episode, PTSD, I found myself exclaiming "Go Finn!" at least twice. I also spotted Jason from True Blood guest starring. It was nice to see him do something so completely different.

* I keep track of Ken McBride's movements through the system through vinelink. They'd done a few transfers to jails, which I haven't bothered to mention. They emailed that today, he has been transferred to Washington Corrections Center. It's not like I think he'd hurt anyone else, but it's profoundly comforting to know he's locked away.
