Oh, my house is totally not at all in danger from this set. Also, honestly, because of the exact location and situation of the house, even when we got bad mudslides in this area a couple decades ago, my house isn't a particular danger for injury or death. (Well, potential injury from trying to dig the cars and the garage out of mud, but back strain is not really what we're talking about here.) The fires stayed several valleys away and the really bad fires were in a different county, on the other side of the mountains.
I've been sleeping a lot, recovering from illness, but checking in honestly didn't occur to me because it's more than an hour drive to where the mudslides are. I forget that people go 'California' and don't know where various places are relative to each other.
