* There are a lot of Republican candidates campaigning on either eliminating social security or handing it over to wall street at five times the administrative costs. They are also running on getting rid of Medicare and free health care for veterans. please, folks. I know things are not as we wish in Washington, but please don't let Republicans kill people by taking away their health care or force them into homelessness in old age. Please take this election seriously.

I don't get how they can say that medicare should go away, when they spent so much time saying that medicare is nothing at all like universal healthcare and should be protected.

Thanks for sharing the Sesame Street/True Blood link. I like how Sesame Street parodies pop culture at times. Heck, I like how it parodies a good deal of things that 4-5 year old kids likely won't get. My favorite so far has been Patrick Stewart doing a parody of Hamlet. I don't know if you've seen it or not; here's a link to it if you haven't: http://www.thedailybeast.com/video/item/patrick-stewart-on-sesame-street
