* The goings on in the Gulf of Aden are important and worth watching, but I think it is too early for panic. There are a lot of variables and things likely going on where we can't see and decisions not yet made. I've my suspicions as to what's going on diplomatically put I've no special knowledge. I do think a lot depends on what the top of the clerical hierarchy in Iran are thinking right now and how they balance their own interests. Obviously, that’s not anything I can speak to.

* There are angry protests in Baltimore over yet another police murder, this time for Freddy Gray, who's spine six of them broke then refused to provide any medical help. He told them he couldn't breath, begged them for his inhaler, for medical attention, but they decided to make two other stops, allowing him to die alone in the back of the police van while they deliberately dawdled, knowing he couldn't breathe or use his legs after their beating. Police followed the standard procedure of lying about their activities despite evidence to the contrary.
The police murdered him for the crime of running in justified fear of his life when his killers made eye contact with him. he posed no threat and was suspected of no crime when the pack of police thugs chose to hunt and kill him.
