Bet if he were black they’d have shot him. Why can’t the same effort be expended on not shooting unarmed black children who pose significantly less threat or no threat at all? Why does playing in the snow warrant summary execution by police drive by, when police are perfectly capable of subduing a man like this with minimum damage?
* Glee 6.11 "We Built This Glee Club:"
1. I'm glad it was just Rodrick getting singled out.
2. Can we please get some closure on Kitty? I am still bummed out we likely aren't getting any for Unique.
3. I want to smack Spencer upside the head through the TV. Bieste? Why would you mention the shot? Mentioning it obviously is ensuring he will do it.
4. Isn't what Sue did literally poisoning and terrorism? Why hasn't she been arrested as a terrorist?
5. Go Beiste! He is still my favorite adult in this show for a reason. (Burt Hummel 2, Emma 3, if you are interested).
6. I wanted that horrible "Hey, Micky!" song to go away from the first second I heard it when it was new. Yuck.
7. Damn, that Hozier song still gives me shivers every time I hear it, ever since I first saw it with that protest video when it was new. It suits Roderick's voice and putting Kitty and her whole context with it... Dayum! At the same time, I rather wish they'd deployed it for plot instead of competition, which never means as much.
8. Their choreography really is primitive, alas!
9. Oh man, incest twins singing to each other.
10. I'm glad they went with the crutches instead, but I vaguely wish they had dressed Spencer as a Pirate.
11. Time was out of joint in Seasons 4 and 5. Now it is circular....
12. Sue and Shue will keep on doing their thing forever, even though we aren't watching any more.
13. Jessie has grown up too. That's weirdly comforting. I live the way this thread played with view point: how their story looked to him, to her, and to us.
14. Okay, the montage was ouch.
* Fun Fact: They once foolishly let me be the adult player on the Slytherin team on a mixed ages Harry Potter RP at Gamestorm. We won. We won so hard. You should have seen the evil grins on the teenaged boy and little girl who were also playing Slytherins. You may say that you can not win a table top rpg game, and I'd normally agree, but judge for yourself: We tricked the other three houses into doing all the hard or dangerous work, made them all forget, then claimed credit for saving Hogwarts and our poor, inept classmates.... This may be the most evil thing I have ever done as a player, and I have done a lot of evil things. (GM-wise, I'd say the most evil thing I have done has to have been either tricking a group of Paladin-like Werewolves into committing genocide in north Africa, or teaching a group of freshman boy rpers in their first non-D&D gamers what rape culture feels like from the other side in a way that had them climbing up the back of their chairs in horror.) I suspect these three data points make me a horrible person, yet I still chuckle.
