Last time I begged you all to vote and vote early, that a lot of people would die if we didn't elect Hillary. I was absolutely right. I pointed out that a whole lot of people including myself would see civil and human rights being slipped away. I was right.

Please don't sit on your hands or vote third party. (I've voted third party in an election I knew we would win because I hated Bill Clinton for a list of reasons, but spoiler we won that one. I did not for 2000 or any other since because we were looking at an existential threat. This is an existential threat).

Vote early if you can. If you are voting by mail, vote as soon as it gets to you and use a drop box if you can. Please, please follow the directions. In most states they use a two envelope system to ensure you have a secret ballot. Use both envelopes according to directions.

Vote as if our lives and democracy depend on it because they really really do.

* The cats have been going through a Social Adjustment as a result of Tavy retaking my room. I think this is why Livia's second, catastrophic bed wetting. (Unfortunately, I'm likely going to have to make a second go at the mattress, but not until my arm is more improved). We've had two my sleeps in a row where everyone got at least two bed pet turns on the human, plus assorted other attentions, plus good bed sharing during Human sleep time, so I think that's mostly sorted. There is still more possessiveness and drama on the Emperor's part than I like, but we are over the hump.

He vomited on her butt today while she and I were sleeping. D: I don't know why or how or who cleaned up after, but neither she nor I found this a pleasant thing to wake up to. I've lost track of how many times I've washed the bed linen in the last week.

I am covered in bruises (I think from all the bed changing). I am queasy and my lungs remain concerning. I had spasms yesterday requiring a surprise extra bath and am still spending a stupid amount of time lying still with my eyes closed each evening, trying to muster enough willpower and pain resistance to get started, but my right arms up to about 70-80% functionality, which is a vast improvement over the 10% after the power outage. The first evening after, I couldn't lift the water to take my meds without support from my left. *wince* At this level of pain you get a lot of mechanical failure.

Anyway, I'm getting it under control; it's just time consuming.
